Karen Connolly has been part of the DesBio Practitioner Support team since 2014. With a nutrition degree and a background in both nutraceuticals and clinical weight-loss, Karen provides an insightful perspective. Karen is wonderful resource for new DesBio practitioners or those that would like to learn about a new product or protocol.
Clair Dainard is the president and leader of the medical education and product education staff for DesBio. She has worked in the natural products industry serving integrative healthcare professionals for over 10 years. Clair received her undergraduate degree from Bastyr University in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics and her Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport.
Amy Ellsworth is a registered dietitian with degrees in both business and nutrition. Amy’s approach comes from a holistic point of view, treating the person as a whole rather than compartmentalizing each sign and symptom. Based on the current research and literature, she also believes that many diseases and disorders are a result of the toxic environment we are living in and that changes in diet and lifestyle can turn the tide. Amy uses a method called “Quantum Reflex Analysis” to determine nutritional deficiencies, nerve and energy flow disruption and possible infections.
Nancy Guberti is a Functional Medicine Specialist, BioNutritionist, Gluten-Free & Casein-Free Diet Expert, Healthy Lifestyle Coach, Motivational Speaker and passionate to empower others to become their own health advocate and learn how to live a healthier lifestyle.
Dr. Irestone is a chiropractor and a naturopath who practices near Minneapolis, Minnesota. He specializes in combining nutrition, physiology, exercise therapy, and natural medicine to customize treatment for each patient.
Ms. Johnson is a certified holistic health practitioner and nutritional consultant who practices out of South Lyon, MI. Her clinic, Back to Basics, focuses on nutrition, supplementation, detoxification, homeopathy, stress reduction, spirituality and emotional healing.
Gerald (Jerry) Simons PA-C, has more than 25 years managing complex infectious diseases. He is a graduate of the Cornell PA Program, a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University and lecturer for the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences. He is a recipient of the Tick Borne Disease Alliance (now Global Lyme Alliance) National Humanitarian Award, has won the top national award for skills as a surgical PA, and has won more than 12 state and national awards as a medical educator, and has lectured internationally on the microbiome.
Dr. Thomas is a licensed naturopath practicing at Northwest Wellness in the Seattle area. He utilizes various modalities that include botanical medicine, physical medicine, intravenous therapies, counseling, dietary interventions, mind-body wellness, and personalized genetics.
Dr. White practices in West Des Moines, IA utilizing homeopathic remedies, herbs, and acupuncture. She specializes in family health with an emphasis in pediatrics. Dr. White lectures at symposiums throughout the country speaking on conditions such as Lyme disease, infertility and child issues, anxiety, depression, and gut health.
